WHO WE ARE

For over 55 years, the UPUA Student & Organization Rights Advisors — formerly the Student Conduct Advisors — have been committed to assisting undergraduate students and organizations that are involved with the Penn State student conduct process. SORA serves as an indispensable resource for any University Park student or registered student organization (RSO) dealing with conduct violations concerning all aspects of student life. Today, we are made up of dedicated undergraduate student Rights Advisors that serve their peers throughout the student conduct process and beyond.


WHAT WE DO

SORA offers a number of services and resources available to Penn State University Park students and RSOs. Our primary purpose is to advise individuals that find themselves working through the student conduct process. We specialize in handling cases related to:
  • Academic Integrity
  • Drugs and/or Alcohol
  • Disorderly Conduct
  • COVID-19 Related Violations
